Garnet Sofillas

With a degree in communications/journalism and nearly 25 years of experience, Garnet has a diverse background that includes radio and TV, corporate communications, manufacturing, and agency work.

After serving in a multitude of roles, from communications coordinator to account manager and marketing manager, Garnet has leaned into what she truly loves: writing. No matter what type of document you need – newsletter, press release, case study, feature article, blog post, technical paper, or corporate social responsibility statement – Garnet is up for the task. She has had case studies and feature articles published in national and international trade publications and has generated copy for digital, marketing, and corporate communications projects as well as public relations campaigns.

Garnet loves writing, because she enjoys communicating with people, getting to know clients, and learning about different industries, technologies, and products. Writing is the secret sauce that can take any advertising, marketing, PR, or corporate communications campaign from good to great!

Garnet is a Maryland native that has lived in Lancaster for more than 20 years, along with her husband and two teenage sons. She enjoys hiking on the Northwest River Trail, volunteering at Life Church Lancaster, walking her Siberian Husky, Luna, and snuggling on the couch with her cat, Figgy, and reading historical fiction.
