Mission Research Launches the Next Generation of Fundraising Software
Last Updated on
Mission Research, developer of GiftWorks, the fastest growing fundraising software for nonprofits, announces the release of its latest technology to support fundraising throughout North America.
GiftWorks® 2008 Standard enters the market as the next generation of powerful and affordable fundraising software. The GiftWorks 2008 version includes all the original capabilities of the 2006 version with updated features. Early users describe the software as easy-to-use, easy-to-learn, comprehensive and affordable.
Building on the success of the original GiftWorks, combined with continual research and advice from more than 6,000 customers, nearly 500 consultant partners and many nonprofit experts, the GiftWorks 2008 version is ideally suited to meet the increasing demands nonprofit organizations face in their fundraising efforts.
“In addition to working with feedback provided by a strong and active nonprofit consultant partner network, Mission Research categorizes, analyzes and prioritizes every single suggestion we receive from our thousands of customers,” stated Mary Pat Donnellon, Executive Vice President of Mission Research. “This information plays a crucial role in helping us understand the needs of nonprofits and in our development of our newest release of intuitive and powerful software to help them be successful.”
GiftWorks® 2008 Standard retails for $399 per license, considerably more affordable than other fundraising software programs currently available to nonprofit organizations. Traditionally, software has been prohibitively expensive and out of reach for most nonprofits, such as Blackbaud® (NASDAQ:BLKB) and Kintera® (NASDAQ:KNTA) solutions that target large enterprises for thousands of dollars.
For the majority of nonprofits that need comprehensive fundraising software, but find many of the solutions in the marketplace too difficult to use or too expensive, GiftWorks® 2008 Standard is an attractive alternative. This latest release of GiftWorks builds upon the solid foundation of the original GiftWorks and features:
- More useful and insightful built-in reports. More robust campaign and giving level reports and expanded customization opportunities for all reports.
- Internationalization. Organizations can choose their desired date format, currency and address/phone formatting.
- Improved task management. Nonprofit leaders can manage tasks assigned to team members; tasks can be sorted and organized to better manage critical development activities.
- More tools for mailings. Making it even easier to generate customized mailings with GiftWorks built-in mail merge.
- Flexible and robust donor management. Includes better household management, expanded relationship tracking, donor pictures on records and more.
- More powerful list-building and segmentation. Retrieve and analyze critical donor and donation data with more options and flexibility.
- Deeper customization throughout the software. Including a multitude of pertinent and helpful reports and widgets users can display on GiftWorks screens.
“GiftWorks 2008 Standard provides our organization (Vallejo Music Theatre) with a tremendous value for a low cost, it is so intuitive and easy to use, we can’t afford not to use GiftWorks,” said Don Kelly, GiftWorks customer.
“To date, there have been too few feature-relevant, affordable solutions available for nonprofits,” stated Donnellon. “Mission Research recognizes the critical work nonprofits of all sizes perform and takes seriously our quest of providing organizations with an outstanding tool to raise the ever-needed funds to accomplish their important mission.”
To support needs specific to volunteer management, Mission Research offers GiftWorks® Volunteers, which helps nonprofits manage and use their volunteers most effectively. The software is offered as an option for an additional $199. All software solutions can be purchased online at www.MissionResearch.com/GiftWorks.
